New legislation is coming. Are you complying?

Simpler Recycling rules are changing how homes in England and workplaces in the UK separate waste. For workplaces with 10 or more full-time equivalent employees, the rules already require dry recycling, food waste and general waste to be kept separate.

From October 2026 waste collection companies will be digitally tracking what they receive, so now is a good time to check that your workplace has the right bins and collections in place.

Businesses with fewer than 10 full-time equivalent employees have until 31 March 2027 to comply.
