The UK government has introduced standard recycling rules for homes and workplaces in England.

Businesses with 10 or more employees must separate their waste into three types: Dry mixed recycling, Food waste and General waste. From March 2027, these rules will apply to all businesses, including those with fewer than 10 employees.
