This Safescan LD-4141 Light Duty Cash Drawer features a tough steel casing with a shatterproof PVC tray. Designed for light duty use in organisations with moderate traffic, the cash drawer has sturdy telescopic sliders and a robust latch mechanism designed to last. The drawer comes with 8 coin cups and adjustable bank note dividers, allowing you to customise to your requirements. The three-position lock can be opened manually, or set to open automatically and comes with 2 keys. The black cash drawer measures W410 x D415 x H115mm.

Items that are in-stock and ordered before 5:30pm Monday to Friday will be delivered the next working day.

We don’t deliver at the weekend. So, if you order after 5:30pm Friday or anytime over the weekend you will receive your goods on Tuesday.

Furniture, large items and deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands may take longer. Delivery timescales are shown clearly on the products and in the checkout.

You can track your order when it is out for delivery or has been safely delivered using My Account.

Cash registers (also referred to as tills) are electronic devices used to register and calculate the value of transactions at a point of sale in a retail outlet or business. Usually the cash register has a cash drawer in its base, a keyboard for entering the details of the sale, and a printer to generate paper receipts for record-keeping purposes. Some cash registers incorporate scanners, but many smaller ones do not, and the input is purely manual.

Many cash registers use thermal printing, a digital printing process which produces an image by selectively heating thermal paper as it passes over a print head. Whatever the method of printing, the receipt produced will list the items purchased, the total cost, and additional details such as the time of purchase or the cashier’s name or ID. When each sale is made, the cash drawer opens and the customer’s money is securely stored inside.
