Spring water also comes from underground sources, but it doesn't have the same mineral content as mineral water. Plastic bottles can contribute to litter, marine pollution, and harm to wildlife if not properly managed and recycled. Glass

• Glass is a highly recyclable material and can be endlessly recycled without losing its quality. The recycling rate for glass is generally higher than that of plastic bottles.

• Glass is made from abundant and naturally occurring materials like sand, limestone, and soda ash. Unlike plastic, which relies on fossil fuels as a raw material, glass production has a lower impact on non-renewable resources.
• Producing plastic bottles requires less energy and resources compared to glass bottles. The extraction and processing of raw materials for glass production can be more energy intensive.
