A Guide to Buying Water

What's the difference between Mineral & Spring water?

Mineral water comes from underground sources. It contains various minerals and trace elements, which are naturally present in the water. These minerals can give the water a distinct taste and provide potential health benefits. If you're looking for a refreshing drink that offers some extra minerals, mineral water might be the way to go.

Spring water also comes from underground sources, but it doesn't have the same mineral content as mineral water. Spring water is typically collected from a natural spring, and while it may still contain some minerals, they aren't as abundant as in mineral water. Spring water is often cherished for its pure, crisp taste. It's a great choice if you prefer a clean and refreshing sip without too much mineral flavour.

Still or Sparkling Water?

Still Water

Still water is, well, still! It doesn't have any added carbonation, so it's simply flat water – no bubbles. If you enjoy a smooth drink without the fizz, still water is the way to go. It's perfect for staying hydrated during workouts, quenching your thirst on a hot day, or simply enjoying with a meal

Sparkling Water

Sparkling water is infused with carbon dioxide gas, which creates those delightful bubbles. If you're a fan of that fizz and enjoy the sensation of sparkling bubbles dancing on your tongue, sparkling water is the way to add some pizzazz to your hydration routine. It's a fantastic choice if you're looking for a refreshing alternative to sugary sodas or if you want to mix up your mocktails with a bit of effervescence.

Glass or Plastic Water Bottles? A Comparison

Plastic

Generally lighter in weight compared to glass bottles, so there’s less energy & fuel required for transportation, resulting in lower carbon emissions during shipping.
Can be more easily recycled than glass bottles in some regions. Used bottles can be turned into new plastic products.
The recycling process for plastic bottles often consumes less energy compared to glass bottle recycling.
Plastic waste is a significant concern globally due to its durability and slow decomposition rate.
While recycling rates for plastic bottles are improving, many bottles still end up in landfills or as litter.

Glass Water Bottles

Glass is a highly recyclable material and can be endlessly recycled without losing its quality. The recycling rate for glass is generally higher than that of plastic bottles.
The material itself does not contribute to marine pollution or harm wildlife in the same way that plastic does.
Glass is made from abundant and naturally occurring materials like sand, limestone, and soda ash. Unlike plastic, which relies on fossil fuels as a raw material, glass production has a lower impact on non-renewable resources.
Producing plastic bottles requires less energy and resources compared to glass bottles. The extraction and processing of raw materials for glass production can be more energy intensive.

Choose a bottled water size to suit your needs

Bottle Size	Usage
330ml and 500ml	Perfect for being on-the-go, or putting in your meeting rooms to make sure everyone is kept hydrated throughout the day, without the need for decanting into glasses.
750ml and 1.5L	Perfect to pour from, whether you’re keeping hydrated at your desk, or keeping staff members and clients hydrated in meetings.
10 Litre 'Bag in a Box'	These can easily sit on the edge of a countertop or table, and the pouring tap makes it easy to fill up your bottles or glass.
15 Litre	These bottles are generally for use in water dispensers, which can be purchased on our website. They can also be bought for when you want a bigger supply of water and can be decanted accordingly based on your needs. They come with a handle at the top to make them easier to carry and install.
