Different types of data projector
- There are two main resolution choices for data projectors; they are called SVGA and XGA
- SVGA data projectors have a resolution of 800 x 600 Pixels
- XGA data projectors have a greater resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels
- XGA data projectors have a better resolution which means the picture quality is better
- We also have a range of ultra-portable data projectors – these are small and light weight
Why is a data projector useful?
Data projectors enable you to project information from your PC, video, DVD or TV onto a projection screen or wall. They have now become much more popular than the old fashioned over head projectors. Data projectors have not only drastically reduced in price but also in size. It is now possible to get a good data projector for under £600 – this was previously impossible.
Which data projector is for me?

- The brightness of the projector
- The resolution of the projector
- And also the size and portability of the data projector
