“He’s a Total Moron”

A New York man faked his own kidnapping because he wanted to escape the anger of his girlfriend after going missing for two weeks.

Rahmell Pettway, 36, admitted to police that he had staged the kidnapping to order to explain his absence to his girlfriend after spending two weeks away from his Brooklyn home. He was arrested for filing a false report after police noticed a roll of Duct Tape dangling from his wrist.

“He’s a total moron,” said one officer. “It was a pathetic attempt to pull the wool over her eyes.”
