PC manufacturer Evesham technology has launched its new Solar Quattro GTS model computer.

Office staff around Britain who are particularly keen to get in some sneaky gaming while on their lunch breaks will be pleased to know this desktop PC features brand new NVIDIA 8 series graphics.

Evesham says the PC has ‘highjacked the high end of the Solar family’, as it includes “incredible” Quad Core processing from Intel.

A statement on its website read: “No more application juggling, with Core 2 Quad processing power multi-tasking becomes MEGA tasking.

“Run multiple process-intensive applications simultaneously without compromising performance to achieve unprecedented computing abilities. Gamers, multimedia enthusiasts and those working in demanding multitasking environments, welcome to a new generation of intense computing.”

The unit also features 2GB of memory, a cordless Logitech keyboard, Multi Format Dual Layer DVD writer and Windows Vista Home Premium software.

Evesham Technology is based in Evesham in Worcestershire and was founded by current chairman Richard Austin in 1983.

The company employs more than 500 people and has 16 retail outlets in Britain, which provide a range of computer products including desktops, laptops, plasma and LCD displays and media PCs.
