Tie Die
A majority of office workers think the necktie, ubiquitous accessory of the white collar worker, will not survive more than another 50 years within British firms. Its demise is attributed to a fanning out from “casual Friday” of liberal dress codes and a relaxation of formal mores in online businesses where there is less emphasis on face-to-face contact with clients and customers.
According to the research commissioned by DealJungle.com, 76% though it would die out within half a century and 51% thought this demise would occur within the next 20 years.
