Global Road Kill 2012 Calendar

For the last week or so, we’ve been bringing some of the offerings of quirky calendar retailer roundaboutsofbritain.com to your attention. Amongst our favourites are Her Majesty’s Prisons of England 2012 and Birmingham’s Outer Circle Eleven Bus Route (anti-clockwise) 2012 calendars.

We round off our highlights of roundaboutsofbritain.com with their top-seller for the last few years, the Global Road Kill 2012 calendar, “dedicated to all the courageous critters that never quite made it across the road in time.

As each month brings a snap of a new exotic cadaver on the roadside (African civet, giant eagle owl, et al.), it is a relief to know that no animals were maimed or harmed for the production of the morbid day counter.

If further moral justification were needed for buying this product, the calendar has the endorsement of Endangered Wildlife Trust (Road Kill Division), South African organisation dedicated to endangered road kill species, who acknowledge it could “help raise world awareness to the plight of endangered animals around the globe who have fallen victim to road kill.”
