Restaurant Burglar Ignores Till, Cooks Meal

By Paperstone on April 6, 2010 in Catering

A US burglar broke into the Matsu Suchi Grill in Hillsale, New Jersey, ignored the $200 in the till and prepared himself a fried chicken and rice dish before leaving. He left several dirty dishes behind.

“He just wanted food, that’s it,” said Detective Robert Francaviglia. “He went in and pulled out a plate, got some chicken out of the freezer, got a rice box and fried up the chicken and rice in the frying pan.”

“After he ate, he left.”

There are similarities with break-in last year at a nearby fried-chicken fast-food restaurant.

Crucially, the dirty dishes may provide vital DNA evidence to help identify and catch this monster.
