New mobile printing solution launched

Display office products and office supplies, such as documents and posters, could become easier to print on the go as Liberty launches a new print-anywhere service.

Sidestepping the need for office machines and printer supplies, including printer cartridges, Liberty’s novel idea utilises wireless technology for business people on the go or at the office.

Customers can print almost any conceivable file from any wireless device to a Liberty Community Print Location (CPL).

File types that are compatible with the CPL system include those from MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and devices that can be used to send the files could be any wireless enabled device, such as a laptop or handheld device, even a mobile phone.

President of Liberty Photo Products Garry Green said: "Liberty is actively developing products and services to create new revenue sources and drive profitability to our customers, and our Community Print Location solution is part of this offering."

He added that it was an "exciting next step in a changing industry".

Liberty’s partners in this wireless printing service are PrinterOn and Ricoh Americas Corporation.
