Menswear retailer Moss Bros hope that office workers wanting to appear smart at work to avoid redundancy will fuel a demand for suits. The retailer itself is hoping to minimise losses this year.
Said Chief Executive Brian Brick, “If it’s tough people will look after themselves for work. They do not want to stand out as the scruff in the office. So they do buy the new suit, they do dress up, they will go without other things.”
