British Women Splurge For Xmas
British women will spend £3.5 billion to make themselves look nice for Christmas parties this year. The average women aged 18 to 60 will spend £206.84 on clothes, shoes, accessories, hair, make-up and beauty treatments.
One in five women will fork out for a new outfit for every party or event they go do over the Xmas period.
On average, a woman will spend £76.50 on a frock or outfit, £41.22 on shoes, £31.53 on accessories, £35.70 on hair and make-up and £21.89 on beauty treatments such as tanning and manicures.
The poll of 3,000 women, commissioned by Indesit, also revealed that 56 percent of women panic about what to wear to the office Christmas party.
