In other goat-related news, an aggressive billy goat has been squatting in a third-floor flat in Offenburg, Baden-Württemberg. Police turned up at the flat after builders had complained after being chased out by the house-proud ruminant to find the occupant in question eating some curtains.

Said a police spokesman: “We have no idea how that goat got up onto the third floor and entered the apartment. We also don’t know who owns it – we have had no reports of a missing goat.”
