Happy Boxing Day!

By Paperstone on December 26, 2009 in Office Supplies

Boxing Day is so called because in Anglo-Saxon tradition, seasonal gifts to be given to the poor and socially inferior were kept in a "Christmas Box" which was opened on 26th December. The stricken, disenfranchised masses were happy at this small, annual gesture and defaulted to slope-shouldered, misery-inflected deference to their betters for the rest of the year in return.

Long live inequality!
