Birmingham’s NEC will be the venue for document imaging company Kyocera’s 5th Annual Green Card conference on the 21st of May 2008, it has been announced.

Designed by the office machine supplier to promote environmental best practice and held in association with Sustainability Live, the event will feature government and charity representatives as well as guest speakers from the utilities, conservation and corporate sectors.

Communications manager at Kyocera Helen Hopper comments: "The fifth annual Green Card conference is an excellent opportunity for organisations to share best practice and ideas for a more sustainable future."

Topics that will be debated at the conference include the reduction of harmful emissions in workplaces, while case studies examples will be used to discuss the practical implications of implementing eco-initiatives.

Kyocera Corporation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of office machines and office products including network-ready digital multifunction copiers, laser printers and wide format imaging devices.
