HP produces “attractive” new office products

A new range of office machines produced by HP has been described as "attractive" and "well-made" by an industry expert.

In reviewing the new HP Laserjet P1006, Simon Williams of vnunet.com stated that the smallest-ever office equipment made by HP was easy to use and affordable for homes and small businesses alike.

The "simple" office machines have an input tray which can hold 150 sheets of A4 Paper, along with USB and wireless capabilities. The office machines print at a speed of 12.5 pages per minute, costing an average of 3p per printed page.

Mr Williams added: "There’s no setup guide with the LaserJet P1006, as it’s provided on the supplied CD instead.

"As long as you can run the CD on a PC, you benefit from the animated setup instructions, which do a good job of making the whole process straightforward."

Earlier this month, HP launched a programme in the US state of California to highlight consumer recycling of printer cartridges and inkjet cartridges.

HP signed a deal with the state government to provide recycling facilities at all state buildings so that HPprinter cartridges – as well as other brands – can be recycled.

Together, the partnership aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 500 tonnes per year.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
