Printer cartridges to be sold for a good cause

Printer cartridges made by ActionAid Recycling’s new brand Greensource Imaging are set to contribute to a good cause, it has emerged.

For every one of the printer cartridges sold, the organisation has pledged to give £2 to help fund its educational work abroad, the Recycler reports.

Benefits of the new brand of printer cartridges which have been identified by ActionAid include allowing the organisation to work with children and adults who have never been able to secure an education, as well as increasing the number of reconditioned printer cartridges.

ActionAid claims that the reconditioned printer cartridges, which are reprocessed in Bristol, reduces environmental damage caused by new, imported printer cartridges.

All printer cartridges produced under the new Greensource Imaging brand carry a two-year quality guarantee.

According to the organisation, the launch of the new printer cartridges "represents the commitment ActionAid Recycling has to the environment, reducing landfill and supporting ActionAid’s education work".

The company has also recently purchased the Bristol-based firm Replicate, after which it has claimed to be "the leader" in collections of printer cartridges in Bristol.

Its service allows donors to leave empty printer cartridges for collection. Those are then taken to the onsite production facility and reprocessed to be sold again.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
