Oh Brother! Here comes a new range of MFPs
Printer supplies expert Brother is releasing a new line of colour laser and inkjet cartridge multifunction printers (MFPs).
And the printer supplies firm claims the new range is sleeker and more compact and affordable, PC Advisor reports.
It has upgraded its colour inkjet cartridge range with ten MFPs featuring print, scan and copy functions.
Brother will be hoping the new line can snare a large chunk of the home user printer supplies market.
All of the new compact MFPs can fire out 30 pages per minute mono and 25 in colour.
The inkjet cartridge models use individual inkjet cartridges which are accessible via the front of the machine and the entry level model starts at just £49.99 which is a bargain price considering its design mimics the popular whitewash iPod-style.
Brother Industries is a diversified Japanese company, making products which range from printer supplies to sewing machines.
It celebrates its centenary year in 2008, although the corporate name Brother Industries wasn’t created until 1962.
In 2004, the printer supplies outfit’s annual turnover was well over 420 billion yen.
