An office furniture specialist group from UAE is taking part in Office 2007 – an exhibition aimed at improving productivity through improved working environments.

OFIS, the furniture, flooring and interior solutions business of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, is set to demonstrate how firms can revolutionise office space and "bring workplaces to life".

Designers are aiming to use office supplies and furniture in a flexible and exciting way, so as to improve the office environment.

The concept known as ‘Village Office’, has been developed by Dutch office supplies giant Samas.

Theo Magermans, director of business development at Samas, suggested that the innovative concept creates links between the office environment, job satisfaction, worker motivation and productivity.

"At Samas, we are constantly monitoring trends, markets to provide better working environments for employees," he revealed.

"’Through this concept, we aim to create an environment that has a smart, attractive, friendly design and can form an office ambience which is flexible, effective and welcoming for employees, which makes them feel like coming to work, and motivates them to increase productivity."

The exhibition takes place next month at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, with world renowned producers of office supplies, furniture, interiors, technology and services taking part.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office supplies.
