Office equipment company HP is planning to release a number of new printers and related services onto the market, it has emerged.

The office supplies products are varied and aimed at both those with home offices and small companies.

Among the new office machines on offer include the Photosmart A526 and A626 compact photo printers, Photosmart C4385, C7280, C8180 and C6280 all-in-ones and the Deskjet 6988.

The LaserJet M2727 MFP series, Officejet Pro K8600 series and Officejet H470 Mobile Printer series are also set to be released.

Some of the office products, including the Photosmart C7280, include the use of individual printer cartridges, wireless connectivity and memory card slots.

Others – depending on the model – offer Ethernet connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-fi adaptors, additional Paper trays, an electronic stapler and an auto duplexer.

In conjunction with the new office machines, HP is also launching a $300 million (£149 million) marketing campaign focusing on its web-based printing services.

"As more and more content moves from the desktop to the web, HP is working to make printing relevant and meaningful," the office products company said in a statement.

Printer cartridges generate most of HP‘s profits in the printing and imaging business, according to Reuters.
