Printer supplies and copying giant Canon has unveiled its new SELPHY CP740, which it describes as a powerful new photo printer "that fits in the palm of your hand".

Canon is a world leader in printer supplies, particularly photo printing solutions, and the new model is sure to attract scrap-bookers and digital photographers across the UK.

The newest addition to its photo printing line-up has a two-inch colour LCD screen, as well as automatic red-eye reduction technology.

Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, consumer imaging group, Canon USA, said: "This printer is ideal for anyone who hopes to produce long-lasting memories with no hassle.

"Especially with the popularity of scrapbooks, crafting, and even personalised postcards printed while on vacation, the SELPHY CP740 Compact Photo Printer can make great quality prints and postcards. And, at an estimated selling price just under $100 (£50), it’s an affordable way to make memories that last."

Like many of its printer supplies rivals, Canon will be hoping the innovative touches and user-friendly capabilities behind its latest mobile printer can secure it a larger share of the market.

The printer supplies firm is listed as one of Fortune’s Most Admired Companies in America and is on the 2006 Business Week list of Top 100 Brands.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
