Asitrade upgrades its laminator

In order to significantly reduce the amount of glue consumption arising from laminator use, Asitrade has announced that it has come up with a solution to address this problem.

Traditionally, laminators have relied on an applicator and a doctor roll which dishes out PVA glue onto the surface but machine users are increasingly requiring a more effective method from their laminator.

This is where the new Asitrade Gapro4+ comes in. The laminator’s manufacturer claims that this new office machine “surpasses clearly the demands of the industry”.

Following extensive testing of the new laminator, the office machine manufacturer has enabled the new system to be incorporated into existing Asitrade models.

Asitrade states: “It seems obvious that Asitrade has achieved with this new development a significant progress in glue application technology, with many benefits and a very high value for the user.”

A motorised calliper setting is offered on the laminator and the Asitrade Gapro4+ ensures that “both the ceramic coated applicator and ductor rolls are optimized for minimal deflection”.

Highlighting the benefits to be had by businesses by using the laminator, Asitrade remarked: “Less humidity in the stacks means shorter curing times, less intermediate storage and an accelerated material flow from laminating to die-cutting. This may well lead to a better flexibility in production planning.”
