Office equipment ‘helps beat holiday stress’

Having better office equipment could help to reduce stress levels over the holiday season, is has been suggested.

Office products supplier Lexmark International has found that 63 per cent of computer users have been helped through a stressful time by office equipment working as it should do.

Some 44 per cent of the 100 users of office products included in the survey said they felt anxious when they were unable to use technology, such as their computer, printer or mobile phone.

The most popular stress-busting office equipment may be wireless printers, which are taking productivity to new levels, according to Lexmark, in addition to benefiting users’ budgets for printer cartridges.

"Today’s wireless all-in-one printers make it easy to get more done, whether you are working on a work-related project or printing holiday greeting cards and family photos," said Paul A Rooke, consumer printer division president at Lexmark.

A recent survey by office machines and printer cartridges supplier Lexmark International also found wireless printers to the most desired technology product among office equipment users.
