A step-by-step guide to setting up your wireless computer mouse
1: Unbox your mouse
- Open the packaging: Carefully remove the wireless mouse, USB receiver (if applicable), and any other accessories from the box. If it’s not in the box, you’ll find the USB receiver in a storage slot in the battery compartment.
- Check the contents: Make sure you have everything listed in the package contents.
2: Insert battery (if required)
- Open the battery compartment: This is usually located on the underside of the mouse. Slide or lift the cover to open it.
- Insert the battery: Place the battery in the compartment, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are aligned correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Close the compartment: Replace the cover and make sure it is securely closed.
3: Connect the USB receiver (if applicable)
- Locate the USB port: Find an available USB port on your computer.

- Pair the mouse with your computer: In the Bluetooth settings on your computer, look for it in the list of available devices. Click on it to pair.
6: Test
- Move the mouse: Test the cursor movement on the screen to make sure it’s working correctly.
- Click the buttons: Check the left and right buttons, as well as the scroll wheel, to confirm they are functioning properly.
7: Adjust your settings (Optional)
- Access settings: You can customise settings to suit you.
- Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Mouse to adjust pointer speed, button configuration, etc.
- Mac: Go to System Preferences > Mouse to adjust tracking speed, scrolling direction, etc.

Troubleshooting tips
- No response: Check if the batteries are correctly installed or if they need to be replaced.
