Recycling Office Supplies: Londoners Lag Behind Rest of UK
A Lexmark study has found that Londoners do not recycle as much as others in the UK, with a tenth admitting to not doing it at all. Overall, however, the figures are encouraging, with over a quarter of Britons “recycling regularly.”
Reusable ink cartridges have seen a boost in sales as more people seek to consume less and save money.
Said Steve Purdy, country general manager of Lexmark UK: “It’s clear from this research that consumers are now making recycling part of their everyday lives.
“People are willing to fulfil their environmental commitments and help reduce the amount of waste and landfill they produce. Their contribution may be minimal, but it only takes a few small steps by many to make a significant difference.”
