The UK workforce believes the days of the traditional office block are numbered, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) survey. More than 1,150 workers were questioned about their personal ambitions and their predictions for the workplace in 2020 and a majority believe remote working will spell the end of the office block and that working in cafes, home, the park, and elsewhere will become the norm.

The survey also found a present-day desire for better flexible working arrangements (expressed by 47 percent) and improved work/life balance (42%)
