Lexmark’s Earth Month lifts green push

One of the world’s largest office machines manufacturers has launched an environmental campaign targeting homes, offices and businesses in the UK.

Lexmark’s Earth Month – which runs all the way through April – aims to improve the recycling of printer cartridges, attempts to persuade offices to print documents less and use more eco-friendly office supplies.

The company is also offering discounts on many of its most popular – and most environmentally-friendly – office products, The Recycler reports.

A number of Lexmark’s office machines are environmentally-friendly, including the E250d, E250dn, E350d and E352.

Raj Meghani, head of marketing at Lexmark, said: "Paper waste has a dramatic impact on the environment – and naturally, our industry must shoulder some of this responsibility.

"We take our environmental obligations seriously and want to help our customers take advantage of effective printing solutions while actually printing less and cutting down on waste."

Last month, Better Buys for Business gave accolades to Lexmark’s C530 and C532 series of office products for their rapid speed and affordability, calling them "another Lexmark breakthrough in speed and price for colour laser printing."

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
