Office equipment manufacturer Lexmark was recently given recognition for its peripherals by Ingram Micro, the company announced.

Lexmark received the 2007 Manufacturer Award of Excellence – which was created to honour office equipment manufacturers – for its office machines in the category of peripherals.

Ingram Micro collaborates with Lexmark to distribute both inkjet and laser office machines to small, medium and large-sized organisations via solution providers and resellers.

"Lexmark is a best-in-class example of an Ingram Micro partner in excellence," commented Scott Zahl, vice president of vendor management for systems/storage, components and peripherals at Ingram Micro.

"Lexmark is a marketing thought leader, always investigating new ways of doing business, and every level of the Lexmark organisation supports the partnership and relationship."

Meanwhile, Marty Canning of Lexmark said that its partnership with Ingram Micro helps firms enhance productivity "in their unique environment".

Such a partnership is vital to the success of Lexmark, he added.

The office supplies firm recently offered smaller businesses some tips about how to successfully integrate eco-friendly business practices.

Recycling Paper-based office supplies and using Lexmark’s Cartridge Collection Programme to recycle printer cartridges were among the recommendations given.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office equipment.
