Firm develops new way of refilling printer cartridges

A Spanish company has developed a new machine which makes refilling printer cartridges easier and more convenient.

Cartridge Franchisers has created the machines, which can fit into an area as small as one square metre, the Recycler reports.

With the introduction of the devices, people can bring printer cartridges to public spaces such as malls and shops and refill them single-handedly, with no need to consult with an expert, according to the news provider.

The unit for refilling printer cartridges has been tested by professionals in the sector since September 2006 and has continued to operate successfully.

Software connected with the machine enables people who have no experience with refilling printer cartridges to complete the process. It also regulates how many printer cartridges have been refilled each day, which helps to manage stock levels.

Cartridge Franchisers told the Recycler that it was "in the process of agreement with financial partners" that could help the firm grow.

In related news about printer cartridges, Lexmark recently introduced an online rewards programme that gives customers a free inkjet cartridge when they buy five from its website within a 12-month period.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
