Brother’s latest printer is the best way to get photo quality copies at home and in the office, a new survey has suggested.

Nearly 50 per cent of those polled by research institute IDC claimed that the DCP-330C printer produced better replica photos than more specialist equipment.

The images produced by the DCP-330C printer were deemed to be more natural looking and of a better quality than those produced by rival machines.

Brother claims that the printer ease-of-use and "colourful, glossy photoprints" that are produced by the printer’s 6000 x 1200dpi resolution.

Users of the DCP-330C can also take advantage of a two-inch LCD screen that allows photos to be viewed, edited and printed.

On its website, Brother says: "The DCP-330C allows you to print, scan and copy from one simple to use all-in-one."

It also offers PC-free printing, 20 page per minute colour printing and a 100-sheet Paper capacity, making it ideal for office environments where a large number of graphic images are produced.
