Printer award for office equipment manufacturer

The Crufts of the printer supplies world was held last night, with the Xerox 8265 Colour Wide Format Printer scooping a Best of Show award.
AIIM/On Demand Conference and Exhibition is a yearly event that aims to recognise and promote technological innovations in the document and imaging industry through its Best of Show Awards.
Designed as a commercial print provider, Xerox 8265 won the award for best wide format printer at the awards, which are divided into nine separate categories.
Vice president of marketing for the Xerox Production Systems Group Valerie Blauvelt said: "The Xerox 8265 opens up an entirely new set of high-value print jobs for customers looking to complement their current capabilities or enter the expanding graphic communications color wide-format market."
The Xerox 8265 can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of media and produces vibrant graphics via a mixture of eco friendly and inkjet cartridge technology, which will last up to three years.
It also incorporates specially designed inkjet cartridge heads which use interweaving print technology to produce sharp, clear and crisp images, while keeping ink usage low.
Xerox is the world's best known and biggest document management technology and services business, valued in excess of $17 billion (£8.46 billion).
