As far as office products go, the SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition CompactFlash is in a league of its own, boasting the company's quickest read and write times of any of its USB flash drives. Ducati MotoGP motorbike rider Casey Stoner was present at the launch of the new USB flash drive on the eve of the American MotoGP Grand Prix on July 22nd at Laguna Seca in Moneterey, California, along with his teammate Loris Capirossi. The USB flash drives are limited edition and come in either four gigabyte or eight gigabyte size, proving to be the perfect office product for effective storage of data. Tanya Chuang, director of worldwide retail product marketing for the high performance imaging market at SanDisk, stated: "With the SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition cards, we have reached a new threshold of speed 45 megabytes per second for the CF cards and 20MB/sec2 for the SD Plus card." She added: "These speeds allow for fast transfers of images from the cards, and are especially useful for professional photographers in their work-flow environments." Distribution of the new USB flash drive is proposed for August in both Europe and the US and Alessandro Cicognani, marketing and licensing manager of Ducati, explained that "this combination of performance, cutting-edge technology and design is a perfect fit for both companies".
