Photography book gives tips on using printers

Office machines A new book which is aimed at providing tips and advice for photographers who use printers has been released.

Entitled 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques: An Essential Printing Resource for Photographers, the guide walks readers through the process of making high-quality prints from these office machines.

Included in the book, which is published by Course Technology PTR, are detailed instructions and photographic examples from over 20 professionals in the sector who use inkjet printers.

Readers will have the opportunity to learn the differences between various inkjet printers, as well as how to make Photoshop work for them.

The author, photographer and digital imaging consultant Andrew Darlow, said: "After using a variety of inkjet printers for more than ten years, I'm very happy to be able to share many of the tips and techniques I've been using to make exhibition, portfolio, and personal prints with others who share my passion for photography."

He added that "photographers of all levels" would find something to catch their attention in the guide, from instructions on how to choose printers to tips on selecting the right file size and resolutions.

Earlier this month, Craft Computer Paper suggested that the use of unusual materials for inkjet printing was a growing market.
