New colour office equipment from Ricoh

Digital office equipment provider Ricoh has launched the GX2500 colour printer, aimed at small offices.
The office products firm said that the new office machines will help smaller organisations - such as schools, real estate firms and insurance companies - complete high-end printing jobs in an affordable manner.
One of the low-cost features of the GX2500 is called Level Color Mode, which helps control the amount of ink used by printer cartridges per page on documents.
Ricoh also stated that the new office equipment is Energy Star-compliant and environmentally friendly, in addition to utilising high-yield viscous inkjet cartridges.
Ron Potesky, vice president of Corporate Product Marketing at Ricoh Americas Corporation, commented: "Ricoh is excited to now provide a GelSprinter product to users in the small office environment.
"The GX2500 will give small businesses the opportunity to reap the benefits of a high-end printer at an affordable, entry-level cost."
Both colour and black-and-white documents can be printed at 28 pages per minute by the office machines.
Additionally, GelSprinter technology allows the printing of waterproof and fade-resistant documents that do not smear, the firm claimed.
Ricoh makes a variety of office machines, including copiers, fax machines and printers, among others.
