New Lexmark printers 'provide excellent features'

New printers manufactured by Lexmark offer a wide range of features at a low cost, according to a recent review.

Writing in Computeract!ve, Paul Lester says that the Lexmark X6570 could be just the office equipment required for people who work from home.

The office machines are capable of working as copiers, scanners and printers and are able to be connected to wireless networks as well. Fax capabilities are also included.

"This wide range of features combines with a good degree of usability and some fast speeds to offer genuine appeal if you're looking for an easy way to set up a home office," the review states.

Regarding quality and speed, the reviewer explains that the office machines have a text printing speed which "was certainly more than adequate".

However, it raises concerns about the quality of photos, which are viewed as less than impressive, with inaccurate colour representation and slightly blurry images.

Although the printers are generally reviewed in a positive light, a caveat has been added which states that "anyone looking to print a lot of digital photos should really look elsewhere".
