Mitsubishi photo printers now available

New photo printers from Mitsubishi Electric are now on the market in the UK, it has emerged.

The CP9800DW printer is aimed at event and social photographers who would use them as home office machines, as well as at studios and kiosks.

One of the selling features of the new range of printers is that it can produce quality prints very quickly.

The office machines can deliver a variety of borderless print sizes, including 6x4-inch, 7x5-inch, 8x6-inch and 9x6-inch.

Additionally, the office equipment firm claims that more than 40,000 prints can be made before the printers need to be serviced.

"Not only does it produce a print quickly, it does so without any sacrifice to the resolution quality of the print. Mitsubishi's new colour management engine ensures vivid images, deeper black tones and smear-free gradation with every print," commented Darla Achey, product marketing specialist at Mitsubishi.

She added that it is the company's "most advanced photo printer currently on the market" and was made with "state-of-the-art technology".

At the end of July, Mitsubishi worldwide announced a six per cent increase in net sales for the first quarter, compared with the same period in 2006.
