Lexmark to demonstrate office products at conference

One of the world's largest office equipment manufacturers is to attend a major conference this week to demonstrate the ability of office machines within the healthcare industry.
Lexmark will show off its wide range of office equipment at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference in Florida in a bid to introduce more technology into the workplaces of healthcare professionals around the world.
Lexmark will demonstrate its cost-effective office products that could help healthcare facilities automatically scan documents into management systems and easily integrate with a hospital's existing IT infrastructure.
Marty Canning, Lexmark vice president, said: "Lexmark's solutions let healthcare providers affordably take immediate action to help free clinicians from the burden of time-consuming, paper-based processes.
"Lexmark understands the needs of clinicians and is uniquely positioned to help them move toward an optimised emergency medical response infrastructure."
Last month, Lexmark scooped a prestigious industry award for a range of innovative office products.
It was awarded the Better Buys for Business Innovative Product of the Year prize for 2007 for its C935 series of colour laser printing office machines.
