Konica Minolta and Oce to market office equipment together

Office equipment manufacturer Konica Minolta has announced that it has entered into a partnership with Oce to develop and market office machines for printing.
The office equipment will be used in both traditional workplaces and in production settings.
According to Konica Minolta, the decision to join up with Oce was made as a result of a recognised evolution within the office equipment market - particularly in developing countries.
"With the use of office equipment becoming increasingly diversified, the ability to provide ideal solutions is becoming even more important as a differentiation factor," the firm said in a statement.
It also suggested that both of the companies' "unique business presence" within the high-performance light production printing market and the digital printing market could contribute to growth.
Under the agreement, Konica Minolta will supply office products from its entire line to Oce, while both firms will supply each other with production printing machines, depending on the size of the system.
Among the office machines offered by Konica Minolta are laser printers and bizhubs.
