Canon UK has announced that it is to invest a sum of £1 million into a new Professional Print showroom, which will showcase the latest printer technology to customers.

Found at the printer and printer cartridge
manufacturer’s headquarters in Reigate, the state-of-the-art showroom is designed to provide demonstrations and information about Canon’s professional print capabilities.

According to Canon, the centrepiece of the printers arena will be the imagePress C7000VP model, of which ten have been sold since its recent launch with a further seven in the offing.

The Professional Print showroom will enable customers to get the most from their printer cartridges by making use of the "comprehensive print strategy".

Ben Milford, head of professional print marketing, explained: "Canon’s professional print offering has flourished over the past few years and we are now a serious player in the industry.

Mr Milford added: "We are delighted to unveil the new facility, showcasing our flagship professional products. We are keen to show our commitment to this sector and our devotion to providing our customers with a complete range of solutions tailored to meet their individual needs."

Canon has also highlighted its commitment to adopting an environmentally-friendly stance with its award-winning eco headquarters and its pledge to recycle many of its printer cartridges by encouraging its customers to send them back when used.
