Conversely, CEOs of organisations that tried alternative methods such as flexible working and budget cuts enjoyed a rise in trust.<\/p>\n<p>The Index measures trust according to six attributes &ndash; ability, understanding, fairness, openness, integrity and consistency &ndash; and their relevant importance according to respondents. Two-and-a-half thousand managers andd non-managers from private and public sectors.
