The research was conducted for the Avery-sponsored <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avery.co.uk\/avery\/en_gb\/Projects-&amp;-Ideas\/Ideas-for-Work\/GOW\/Green-Office-Week-Home.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Green Office Week<\/a> which runs between 9th and 13th May.<\/p>\n<p>The poll found that only a third think their managers are clear about the steps that can be taken to green up their office. The poll also found that workers don\u2019t think much of their office\u2019s green credentials, with only 17 percent thinking their office is \u201cvery or completely green\u201d and 28 percent saying it is \u201cstill not very green.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Respondents identified a number of factors preventing people being greener in the office. These included a lack of encouragement (cited by 24 percent), too much effort involved (19%), cost (18%) and lack of information (16%)<\/p>\n<p>Green Office Week is in its third year and is intended to encourage offices to be proactively green, by, for instance, reviewing purchasing habits in light of environmental concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Paperstone sell a wide range of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/v\/Office-Supplies\">Recycled office supplies<\/a> for the eco-concious office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A majority of workers have little or no confidence in their managers to make their offices greener, according to recent research commissioned by label makers Avery.
