Or so says a poll commissioned by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brother-usa.com\/Ptouch\/MeansBusiness\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brother International Corp.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This equates to a cost to US businesses of $177.8 billion a year.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of the loss due to disorganization &ldquo;may drastically impact the bottom line for large companies and small businesses alike,&rdquo; a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/Ink-Cartridges-And-Toners\/Brother\">Brother<\/a> spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As we have seen now more than ever, companies are trying to find unique ways of saving money and becoming more efficient. Usually companies don&rsquo;t think of disorganization in terms of dollars wasted.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Office supplies are the most commonly mislaid items. Thirty percent say they&rsquo;ve lost a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/filing-archiving\/c-949\">file \/ folder<\/a> in the past year, 26 percent a mobile phone, 26 percent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/office-machines-supplies\/calculators\/l-3474\">calculator<\/a>, and 26 percent a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/computer-accessories\/data-storage\/usb-memory-sticks\/l-6829\">flash or memory drive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Not surprisingly, the survey found that most office workers (87%) feel less productive when their workspace is disorganised.
