A further ten percent have stayed at work until between midnight and 3am as ever-growing workloads have taken their toll.<\/p>\n<p>About three in five regularly start work early and two-thirds worked through their lunch break. Fifty-six percent of workers worked late, with a third having left the office after 8pm during the last year. Forty-five percent regularly took work home with them in the evening. Four percent even reported working seven days a week to handle their workload,<\/p>\n<p>Said Jim Venables, managing director of officebroker, &ldquo;What is clear from our research is that people are working longer than before, cramming in every spare second they can get to plough on with tasks.
