The designers at Buffalo have had a busy few weeks, taking everyday office equipment<\/a> and giving it a thoroughly 21st century flavour. <\/p>\n

Everybody knows that your PC mouse is a simple piece of office equipment that carries out simple point and click tasks and lets you navigate around your computer screen. So why mess with a classic design?<\/p>\n

Well clearly the designers at Buffalo haven’t heard the adage "if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it" as they’ve unveiled two new mice for the office environment. <\/p>\n

First up is the BOMU-W24A\/BL, a handheld device that tips its cap to the recently released Wii games console from Nintendo. <\/p>\n

Featuring all the regular buttons and dials as comparable office equipment, it is fitted with gyro sensors that allow the cursor to react to a flick of the wrist or a twist of the arm. <\/p>\n

Not massively practical for an office environment, the BOMU-W24A\/BL also features regular optical sensors for normal use.<\/p>\n

Buffalo has also designed a new piece of office equipment that poses more than a passing resemblance to Apple’s iPod. <\/p>\n

Featuring a scroll-wheel to navigate the cursor vertically on the screen, applying pressure to the left or the right will replicate horizontal movements. <\/p>\n

At just eight millimetres thick, this Buffalo mouse will work equally as well on the road as it will in the office, with a retractable USB connecter making it ideal for laptops. <\/p>\n
