{"id":1641,"date":"2007-08-21T14:19:51","date_gmt":"2007-08-21T14:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/Wordpress\/?p=1641"},"modified":"2007-08-21T14:19:51","modified_gmt":"2007-08-21T14:19:51","slug":"swiss_government_should_use_more_recycled_office_supplies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/News\/articles\/swiss_government_should_use_more_recycled_office_supplies","title":{"rendered":"Swiss government &#8216;should use more recycled office supplies&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Swiss government has been told by environmental groups that it is not using enough recycled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\" target=\"_self\">office supplies<\/a>, it has emerged.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Swissinfo website, the Swiss association for the promotion of ecological Paper and ecology in the workplace (FUPS) and a separate Greenpeace initiative have both alleged that the government is using fewer recycled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\" target=\"_self\">office supplies<\/a> than previously.<\/p>\n<p>The organisations say that the percentage of recycled Paper used in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/office-machines-supplies\/c-2420\" target=\"_self\">office machines<\/a> in government buildings has decreased over the past six years, falling from 51 per cent to <br \/>33 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Instead the groups would like 60 per cent of Paper used in government-owned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\/office-machines-supplies\/printers-fax-machines\/c-2466\" target=\"_self\">printers<\/a> and copiers to be recycled and 20 per cent to have a Forest Stewardship Council label.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;For years the government talks about sustainable development, but the share of recycled Paper used by the federal authorities continues to drop,&quot; Rahel Wunderli, from the Greenpeace initiative, told the news provider.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;If you look at overall Paper consumption and not just photocopy and printing Paper the authorities appear in a better light,&quot; said Daniela Feldmann, head of communication at the Federal Building and Logistics Office.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, John Graham, a spokesperson for Flash Drive Direct, said that more companies are seeking out green <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\" target=\"_self\">office supplies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paperstone.co.uk\" target=\"_self\">office supplies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Swiss government has been told by environmental groups that it is not using enough recycled office supplies, it has emerged.
