New photo printers<\/a> from Mitsubishi Electric are now on the market in the UK, it has emerged.<\/p>\n

The CP9800DW printer is aimed at event and social photographers who would use them as home office machines<\/a>, as well as at studios and kiosks.<\/p>\n

One of the selling features of the new range of printers<\/a> is that it can produce quality prints very quickly.<\/p>\n

The office machines<\/a> can deliver a variety of borderless print sizes, including 6×4-inch, 7×5-inch, 8×6-inch and 9×6-inch.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the office equipment<\/a> firm claims that more than 40,000 prints can be made before the printers<\/a> need to be serviced.<\/p>\n

"Not only does it produce a print quickly, it does so without any sacrifice to the resolution quality of the print. Mitsubishi’s new colour management engine ensures vivid images, deeper black tones and smear-free gradation with every print," commented Darla Achey, product marketing specialist at Mitsubishi.<\/p>\n

She added that it is the company’s "most advanced photo printer currently on the market" and was made with "state-of-the-art technology".<\/p>\n

At the end of July, Mitsubishi worldwide announced a six per cent increase in net sales for the first quarter, compared with the same period in 2006.<\/p>\n
