HP<\/a>‘s Photosmart A826 photo printers<\/a> are easy to use and contain several attractive design features, it has been claimed.<\/p>\n

A review on ZDNet describes the design of the printers<\/a> as "futuristic" and "space-age", with a "pod-like" shape. The Paper is contained completely within the body of the printer and users can add up to 100 sheets at a time.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the control panel also sports a simple design, with a seven-inch touch-screen display which can show off images being printed. A stylus, four memory card slots and a PictBridge USB port are concealed under the front cover.<\/p>\n

Printer cartridges<\/a> are located beneath a small panel on the front of the printer – but this office machine requires only one cartridge at a time, which will print about 55 4 x 6 photos, according to HP<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The review says that although the Photosmart A826 range of printers<\/a> are fun and good-looking office machines<\/a>, the expensive price may put some consumers off purchasing it for home use.<\/p>\n

However, it concludes: "Despite the high price, HP<\/a> has broken new ground with this design and we liked it enough to award it an Editors’ Choice designation."<\/p>\n
