Many people opt for black and white printing from their office machines<\/a> despite the availability of colour printing, it has emerged.<\/p>\n

Research by office equipment<\/a> manufacturer Lexmark revealed that the use of black printer cartridges<\/a> is popular among health care professionals looking to print copy as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n

The study was targeted at healthcare business services across the US, UK, France and Italy.<\/p>\n

Documents most commonly printed from office equipment were found to be text documents, followed by forms and records, short reports and invoices and purchase orders.<\/p>\n

Lexmark revealed a primary demand among healthcare professionals was the acquisition of printing technology that could provide both time-saving and efficient Paperwork management <\/p>\n

Monochrome laser printers<\/a> or multifunction products (MFPs) were most commonly used for monochrome printing, the office machines<\/a> supplier noted.<\/p>\n

Lexmark vice president Marty Cnning commented on the benefits of MFP technology, which is designed to save time on print, copy, scan and fax-based activities.<\/p>\n

"The goal with MFP technology is to help heath care professionals spend less time with Paper and more time with patients," the office supplies<\/a> expert added.<\/p>\n
