A catalogue of almost 3,000 green office products<\/a> with eco-friendly attributes has been published by an office supplies<\/a> provider.<\/p>\n

The 2007-08 Green Book has been put together to enable businesses to select from the widest possible range of sustainable and useful office supplies<\/a> as they work towards creating a greener workplace.<\/p>\n

Included in the manual is a list of over 2,200 recycled or remanufactured office products<\/a>, as well as 600 products with other environmental benefits.<\/p>\n

It also provides guidance on technological aspects of running an environmentally-friendly officer, such as selecting the proper furniture, lighting, office machines<\/a> and office equipment<\/a>. <\/p>\n

In addition, the recycling and refilling of printer cartridges<\/a> and other similar office supplies<\/a> is discussed.<\/p>\n

"Year-over-year we are seeing a significant increase in the number of customers wanting to ‘green’ their purchasing practices," commented Steve Schmidt, president of Office Depot’s North American Business Solutions Division.<\/p>\n
